Heart Attack is a month long course to give you the tools, understanding and practical experience to transform yourself and your life into something you absolutely love. We combine experiential learning, group empowerment and self-development theory and exercises to give you the opportunity to experience yourself in a totally different way. Designed to be the mother of all empowerment programs, Heart Attack will give you the clarity, ability, and confidence to clearly define and shape the outcome of your life.

The balancing six themes

We have worked hard to create a program that brings clarity, strength and confidence in all aspects of life. That sounds like a big ask, and it is! But we’ve got it covered. We are a professional team with varied backgrounds and skill sets who have managed to develop a rich program that offers different ways to gain comprehensive understanding, experience and training in the major components of life.

Here are the things that we’ll be covering over the course of the 30 days:

Lifestyle

We focus on defining a balanced lifestyle with focus and clarity, helping you to learn the science of developing habits that stick. You’ll create a high-five-able relationship with money and make a clear, actionable plan for your ultimate lifestyle that brings you balance, abundance, enthusiasm, health and ease throughout your day-to-day activities.

Self-expression

Have you ever been nervous about saying what you really feel? Scared to be a bit weird? Or are you ashamed of anything? Don’t worry, it’s normal and also something we can easily do something about. We’ll provide the workshops and activities that will allow you to experience yourself through art, dance, public speaking and performance. You will find out more about how you interact with the world and how you can express yourself from the heart authentically, openly and honestly.

Psychology, the psyche and self-knowledge

You will become a master of yourself to be a strong and confident leader. We will share with you everything we know about how you can be your own coach, control your emotions, influence your subconscious mind, uncover and change your limiting beliefs, be mindful and aware, have ultimate clarity on who you are and where you’re going in order to be joyous and purposeful in everything you do.

Connection to self and others

From the longest study of happiness, came an extremely important finding: “Good relationships keep us happier and healthier”. We uncover the science of what makes good relationships happen and how to connect deeply with your family, friends and strangers quickly and authentically using verbal and non-verbal communication. As well as this, we will be exploring the idea of self-love and how to develop your self-esteem, trust and empathy.

Health

One of the most basic and misunderstood aspects of our well-being is how we should manage our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. From buddhist practice and philosophy to leading psychology and science, you’ll learn and practice the tools and techniques you need to keep you feeling energised, clear minded and ready to take on your challenges. Focusing on what we think are the main pillars of health; sleep, nutrition, exercise and mindfulness, you’ll be shaping your daily habits and natural tendencies, so that wherever you are in the world, you’ll feel energised throughout the day.

Nature

The importance of nature cannot be understated. We’ll be taking you past your occasional walk, to experience nature in a very new and personal way. You will learn about what the Stoics called “living according to nature’s laws”. You will understand and strengthen your relationship with nature, how use the nature, and how to preserve it. By the end of the program you will appreciate the natural world through a deeper understanding of it’s inner workings and be able to tap into nature’s innate wisdom.

What is included?

Activities and Workshops

Everyday you will experience a full day of physical activities, workshops, lectures and experiential challenges. Some of which you may be familiar with and others you certainly won’t!

You will participate in more than 85 different activities and workshops during the 30-day program!

Optimal Nutrition

Throughout the 30 days you will receive delicious, nutrient dense meals carefully prepared by our professional chefs, as well as nutrition lectures, cooking workshops and individual nutrition plans.

All the meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the whole program are included.

One-on-one coaching

Each participant receives a weekly personal coaching session from the Heart Attack Program mentors and coaches to ensure that your growth is tailored and transformational. By the end of the month you will have the clarity, confidence and competence to make the change you’ve always wanted.

Live in a tropical paradise

Located next to a jungle on the side of a mountain, overlooking the ocean across the river, Florianópolis is known as the Island of Magic, and once you visit it’s not hard to see why. This sub-tropical paradise is famous for its beaches and natural wonders.

All 30-days accommodation expenses are included in the program.

Rewilding Experience

During the program, we’ll be taking you into nature to get back to basics and learn what it means to live the simple life. This unique experience will give you a valuable insight into how you react to challenges, interact with other people and how to survive in nature.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I get there?

Bus

Rosemary Dream is based in Barra Da Lagoa. The cheapest way is to arrive is by bus. From the central bus station (Terminal Centro), it will take you 1-2 hours depending on the day. When you arrive at Centro, you need to exit and head right to the local bus station (Terminal Urbano). Here you will need to get either the 320 or the 330 to TILAG (Terminal de Integração da Lagoa da Conceição) and then the 360 to Barra Da Lagoa. At the final stop you will see a big blue bridge which you need to cross and then follow the path right for 100 metres until you’re at Rosemary Dream.

Uber

It is around 50 Reis to get an uber from the Terminal Centro to Barra da Lagoa so if you don’t mind spending that little bit extra, jump in!

Flight

If you took a flight to Florianopolis, you can either get a ticket for a minibus to a nearby bus station and get a bus from there to Terminal Centro, Floripa inside the airport before you exit, or alternatively you can take a taxi there too.

How much free time will I have?

You will have one free day a week, but generally you will want to use this day to rest and reflect as the program is very intensive and requires some time to process your learnings.

What’s included?

For the whole month, excluding your days off, you will be provided with food, accommodation, activities. We will be on hand to support and help 24/7 throughout your experience.

What will I be eating?

Our experienced kitchen team will be providing you with the most scrumptious and nutritious food. 90% of our food is vegan, due to not being able to responsibly source meat and dairy, and the rest of the time we eat pescatarian.

Can I bring my dog/kids?

Because your month will be all immersive, we don’t allow people to bring their dogs or children since there won’t be time for you to care for them.

Where will I sleep?

For the majority of the time you will be in high standard shared accommodation so that you bond with your fellow participants, however you will also spend one phase of Heart Attack in the wilderness.

What’s nearby?

Rosemary Dream is situated in Barra Da Lagoa, a small fishing village. Here you will be able to buy all your necessities and essentials. If you need to get money out or buy something special.

How much money should I bring?

Everything is covered except for your 3 free days, so it is primarily up to you, but $100 – 200 will be more than enough to cover you for food and snacks whilst you’re here.

What should I bring?

Full packing list will be shared during your registration call. 

Do I need to be physically fit to participate?

Although there will be a number of physically demanding activities, these can be complete by someone with an average level of fitness.

When do I need to arrive?

We recommend that you arrive at least 3 days in advance of the program for you to get adequately familiar with your surroundings, meet other participants and shake off any jetlag you may have from travelling. We give all participants 1 free nights stay before the program begins.

Can I stay after?

Please do! Normally, our Heart Attack participants want to stay at least another week or two after to consolidate and reflect on their experience whilst still under the wing of Rosemary. You can stay for as long as you like after the program at a special discounted rate for participants.

Do I need a visa?

This will depend on what passport you hold. Please check what the rules are for you here: http://www.rio.com/visa-information-brazil

Will I need vaccines?

Yes. Please see your personal doctor for information on which ones you need before you come. It is not a requirement for you to have the Yellow Fever or Rabies vaccine to enter Brazil.
